Wonder if this new trailer will silence the critics? Disney released a new trailer for the upcoming live-action Aladdin movie, with Will Smith rapping and shot-by-shot scenes from the original film!

This live-action remake stars newcomer Mena Massoud in the title role. Naomi Scott will also appear as Princess Jasmine and Will Smith plays the Genie.

The first trailer Disney released had the internet chirping and not in a good way. But this time around, it seems critics are changing their tune, “Lads, this genie looks way better in the full aladdin trailer,” one posted. Another said, “You owe Disney an apology. This Aladdin film and this trailer looks DOPE.”

Guy Richie directed the Aladdin remake (which hits theatres May 24).
