What are your thoughts on the Ronnie James Dio hologram tour? It’s officially on the road and YouTube user “hvymtlmom” posted video from their Saturday, June 1st show at The Plaza Live in Orlando, Florida.

The tour uses audio from Dio’s tours over the years with the band Dio Disciples playing the music live.

It’s odd, right? Not sure how I feel about this. Like, are we gonna see Prince tours? Michael Jackson tours? Maybe INXS will tour with Michael Hutchence again?

The Ronnie James Dio hologram tour ain’t messin’ around – they’re playing 90 minute sets, where you’ll hear classics like “Holy Diver”, “King Of Rock And Roll” and “We Rock”. They’re even breaking out stuff from Rainbow and Sabbath.

Ronnie James Dio died in 2010 as a result of stomach cancer. He was 67.
