Watch the Trailer for Eminem’s documentary ‘Marshall From Detroit’
Did you hear about this? Eminem is releasing a virtual reality documentary called Marshall From Detroit – and they’ve released the first teaser trailer!
The documentary (made by Felix & Paul Studios) is set to premiere at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and the goal is to show Detroit through Eminem’s eyes.
Director Caleb Slain told Variety, “Our idea was to extend the blanket of intimacy offered by VR beyond the once-in-a-lifetime ride with Marshall and introduce you to a more mystic version of Detroit you could never see for yourself. We wanted to take the ‘reality’ out of VR and cook it down into something more unreal, but also truthful.”
Meanwhile, it was announced last week that Eminem sold more albums than any artist in 2018 – over 500,000 ‘pure’ albums.
