Last February, actor Kelsey Grammar confirmed that the TV sitcom Frasier was getting a revival on Paramount+. That’s still in the making, as far as we know. However, things have been pretty hush hush, so there’s not much info to share.
Now, an impatient fan has created a horror style trailer for the reboot (and perhaps a better idea overall), using most of the original cast members, including Kelsey Grammer, David Hyde Pierce, Jane Leeves, Peri Gilpin, John Mahoney, Dan Butler, Bebe Neuwirth and Edward Hibbert.
You gotta love that the trailer uses Frasier show clips to weave a story of a dark-murder-thriller, with Frasier apparently plotting to kill his brother Niles.
Brilliant!
Back in February ’21 Grammer said, “Having spent over 20 years of my creative life on the Paramount lot, both producing shows and performing in several, I’d like to congratulate Paramount+ on its entry into the streaming world. I gleefully anticipate sharing the next chapter in the continuing journey of Dr. Frasier Crane.”
Frasier originally aired between 1993 and 2004.
