Is there anything Jon Stewart can’t do? He’s written and is directing the upcoming movie Irresistible (about Democrats trying to get back on top in conservative America) and they’ve released a trailer! 

In the trailer, actor Steve Carrell is a Democratic political consultant hired to help a retired ex-Marine colonel (Chris Cooper) run for mayor in a small Wisconsin town.

The movie will be in theatres May 29th and will also star Topher Grace, Natasha Lyonne, Mackenzie Davis, CJ Wilson and Will Sasso.

Stewart made his directorial debut with 2014’s Rosewater (based on the true story of Iranian journalist Maziar Bahari who was jailed on charges of espionage and interrogated after covering Iran’s 2009 presidential elections).

I would say, in general, I have no interest in politically-driven movies – but this looks good.
