Watch Serj Tankian & Tom Morello ‘Like A Stone’ Performance!
Imagine if you were at this festival?! System Of A Down singer Serj Tankian joined Tom Morello on stage this past Friday (May 17) at the Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio. Together they performed Audioslave’s “Like A Stone” as a tribute to the late Chris Cornell.
Cornell and Tankian last saw each other in April 2017 when they went to the red-carpet premiere in LA for “The Promise”, a historical drama about the Armenian genocide. Both had music featured in the movie.
Prior to that, Tankian and Cornell were both at Elton John’s 70th birthday party in LA.
As you know, Cornell was found dead in his hotel room after performing a show with Soundgarden in Detroit on May 17, 2017. Officials later confirmed he hanged himself.
