Watch: Pearl Jam Uncensored ‘Jeremy’ music video!

June 8, 2020

Do you remember the first time you saw Pearl Jam’s “Jeremy” video and how it blew your mind? Prepare to have it re-blown as they’ve just released the uncensored music video!

The video was previously unavailable in the US due to TV censorship laws. However the band released the uncensored video to mark June 5th’s National Wear Orange Day, also known as National Gun Violence Awareness Day.

The song was inspired by a newspaper article singer Vedder read about Jeremy Wade Delle, a high school student who shot himself in front of his English class.

Check out what Pearl Jam posted on social media.

No surprise, powerful video, power song – the original video was directed by Chris Cuffaro and it went on to win Best Video Of The Year at the 1993 MTV Video Music Awards.

This has GOT TO BE one of the most engaging videos of all-time. Can you think of another video that comes close to hitting the mark?
