Space travel. Wouldn’t it be cool to be an astronaut? Actor Brad Pitt plays one with daddy issues in 20th Century Fox’s Ad Astra.

James Gray directs (The Yards, We Own the Night, The Lost City of Z) and Pitt stars as an astronaut trying to find his long lost dad (played by Tommy Lee Jones) whose experiments threaten the solar system. The movie also stars Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler and Donald Sutherland.

You may remember this movie was announced in early 2016, with Gray saying he wanted “the most realistic depiction of space travel that’s been put in a movie”.

Ad Astra is in North American movie theatres on September 20 ’19.
