If you’re a gamer, the new Battlefield 2042 gameplay footage (released by EA Dice) probably has you fully geeking-out. It outlines some of the game’s specialist operators and it looks incredible!

The footage shows specialists Webster Mackay, Wikus ‘Caspter’ Van Daele, Maria Falck, and Pyotr ‘Boris’ Guskovsky; each equipped with their own unique Specialist Trait and Specialty. Not to mention their customizable load-outs!

Swoon.

Webster Mackay’s has a grappling hook, making him able to dodge attacks and maybe sneak up on an enemy. Add in his Nimble trait for an increased ability when aiming down sights and zip-lining and he’s a bad MF.

Maria Falck is a support class who is able to heal fallen teammates.

Pyotr ‘Boris’ Guskovsky can deploy a sentry gun and his trait is Sentry Operator where he can deploy sentries to shoot at enemies. Awesome!

And finally, Wikus ‘Caspter’ Van Daele’s specialty is his OV-P Recon Drone. Don’t know where the enemies are? Deploy a drone. His trait is Movement Sensor, so he’ll be able to detect incoming threats.
