Three Mid-Nineties Prince LPs With Rare Material To Be Reissued!
Prince’s estate has decided to reissue three of his mid-Nineties Prince albums — The VERSACE Experience (PRELUDE 2 GOLD), Chaos and Disorder and Emancipation. And you won’t have to wait long, they’ve put a release of September 13th.
As you might expect, all three albums will be released individually and in bundled CD+LP formats. You can buy them through Prince’s website.
Chaos and Disorder and the three-hour triple-album Emancipation, are both out of print albums from 1996. Prince originally released The VERSACE Experience (PRELUDE 2 GOLD) in July 1995. This time around you’ll hear remixed versions of the songs “P. Control,” “Gold” and “Eye Hate U”.
Good news for Prince fans, I guess, as the estate keeps pumping out music. Just this past June they released “Originals” – a posthumous Prince album with 14 previously unreleased recordings.
It’s a tragedy that he’s gone but as a fan, love hearing more of his music.
