There Will Be A Vol.2 Of Chris Cornell’s ‘No One Sings Like You Anymore’!
Chris Cornell’s widow Vicky Cornell & estate (and Universal Music) released “No One Sings Like You Anymore: Volume One” and apparently you haven’t heard the last of Cornell cover songs!
Vickey was recently a guest of “The Rizzuto Show” on Collinsville, Illinois radio station 105.7 and said there’s more songs coming, “There is a volume two. The thing with this volume one, though, that makes it special is that he mastered it, he sequenced it — this is all Chris from beginning to end. And the other one was mastered, not sequenced, volume two. And then, because he was just such a prolific writer, we’re blessed, because he has left us lots of music. Not in completely finished form, but there’s enough to work with, and the Cornell stamp is all over it. So that’s really special. So there’s a lot of music.”
One of the stand outs from Volume 1 was Cornell’s cover of John Lennon’s “Watching The Wheels”.
This is cool… Cornell played all the instruments on “No One Sings Like You Anymore”. You can pre-order now, with the physical album coming out March 19, ’21.
Which songs do you hope to hear on Volume 2?
