Theory Of A Deadman Talk About New Single ‘Dinosaur’

Theory Of A Deadman is back with their new single, “Dinosaur”!

The chorus rumbles along, “Hey kids, boys and girls, now we’ve really done it, it’s the end of the world…Now, we’re going out, going out like the dinosaur.”

The album was produced by Martin Terefe (Jason Mraz, Yungblud) and this new single is the first taste of new music since since 2020’s album “Say Nothing”.

Singer Tyler Connolly said, “‘Dinosaur’ takes us back to our roots with this riff-driven rocker. To me, it feels like it could fit on any of our albums, but I will say if you like the old Theory Of A Deadman, you’ll love the new Theory Of A Deadman.”

Guitarist Dave Brenner said, “Rock is where we made our bed for all these years. It’s been a while since we had an up-tempo in-your-face track like this — and it felt good.”

Of course, Theory Of A Deadman — Tyler Connolly (lead vocals, guitar), Dave Brenner (guitar, backing vocals), Dean Back (bass), and Joey Dandeneau (drums, backing vocals) is a local Vancouver band (or, North Delta) and they’re long-time friends of the podcast. They’ve been going at it since 2002 and have had a handful of #1 songs over the years.

Will Dinosaur be their next #1 song? I’d be willing to bet on it.
