By the looks of it, filmmaker Eugene Jarecki has done a fantastic job of capturing Elvis’ legacy in the new documentary, The King.

As you might expect, the movie traces Elvis’ rise and fall.

Watch the trailer (above) for a glimpse of what to expect; a wide array of musicians and cultural figures talking about Elvis – Alec Baldwin, Chuck D, Rosanne Cash, Emmylou Harris, Van Jones, Mike Myers, Dan Rather, Lana Del Rey, Ethan Hawke, Greil Marcus, David Simon and Ashton Kutcher.

Sounds good, right? The movie opens June 22nd! Not long now.
