Supergroup Feat. Members of Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam & G’n’R
How’s this for a supergroup?! Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith has put together a band to play a charity event October 6 at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles!
Besides Smith, the band will feature Coldplay singer singer Chris Martin, Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready, Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan and more!! They’re calling the group “Chad Smith’s Super Mega Funktastic Jam Rock All Stars”. Appropriate name much?
The event is called “Will Ferrell’s Best Night of Your Life” and not surprisingly, will be hosted by Will Ferrell. And it’s not just music at this event – comedians confirmed to take part include Jerry Seinfeld, Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O’Brien, Samantha Bee, Michelle Wolf and Kumail Nanjiani.
Quite the night. Wouldn’t it be cool to be there?
Tickets sales will benefit Cancer For College, which provides college scholarships to low-income, high-achieving cancer survivors.
