R. Kelly Charged With Soliciting a Minor

August 6, 2019

What an “alleged” scumbag. On August 4th R. Kelly was charged with soliciting a minor for sexual purposes and soliciting prostitution from someone under 18.

The “alleged” incident took place in July 2001, according to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office.

Here’s what “allegedly” went down – Mike Freeman, an attorney for the county, said a fan was trying to get an autograph from R. Kelly before a concert. That’s when Kelly gave her his phone number and when she called he told her to go to his hotel room. “After some discussion she was offered $200 to take off her clothes and dance for him,” Freeman said. “After accepting the $200, she got naked and they proceeded to dance.”

They then had sexual contact, not sex though and Kelly allegedly gave her VIP seats. Her name hasn’t been revealed. Based on the timeline, it’s believe she was between 16 and 18 years old when this “allegedly” happened.

Scumbag. Allegedly.

R. Kelly’s lawyer, Steve Greenberg, says he considers the charges “absurd.” “The facts as known show this is just a cry for attention by the prosecutor,” he says. “Some girl comes in and starts dancing and says he touched her? What’s she doing there dancing? It’s enough already.”

You’ll remember last week Kelly pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering and sex trafficking in a Brooklyn federal court. No bail. Flight risk. Ya think so? No shit Sherlock. It doesn’t end there though – Kelly is also facing federal charges in Chicago for child pornography, enticement of a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity and conspiracy to obstruct justice.

You can dress an “alleged” sexual predator scumbag up in a three piece suit and he’ll still be an “alleged” sexual predator.
