NANCY WILSON: ‘It’s Looking Really Good For A HEART Reunion Tour’

October 3, 2018

Hell has frozen over. Seems Heart might be firing up a reunion tour in 2019.

You’ll remember back in 2016 the Wilson sisters had a falling out – Ann’s husband Dean Welter was arrested for assaulting Nancy’s then-16-year-old twin sons backstage at a show in Seattle (he eventually pleaded guilty to two lesser assault charges to avoid jail time).

Nancy Wilson was recently a guest of the “Let There Be Talk” podcast and says that “it’s looking really good for a Heart reunion tour” in 2019. She told host Dean Delray that there was “a big offer up there on the table. Me and Ann are talking, so we’ll keep talking.” and that the sisters have reconnected and they’re talking about a comeback next year.

In regards to what went down at their Seattle show in 2016, Nancy said: “There was a family drama that was highly uncalled for and unnecessary and hurtful, and it was just one of those things that takes time to get past. So, a couple of years have gone by. It’s not anything that Ann ever did wrong, or I ever did wrong, but it’s just one of those family dramas that just happened, and it just kind of poisoned the atmosphere for a while there. So it’s good. I’ve had a real positive feeling about now that I’m communicating directly more with Ann.”

Heart’s last show was October 22, 2016 at Riverdome in Bossier City, Louisiana.

What’s the biggest family drama you’ve had (that you’re willing to share)? My asshole older brother has me blocked on social media. ‘Cause he’s still 7 years old. How about you?
