‘Mulan’ Reboot Coming To Disney+ In September With Strings Attached

August 4, 2020

Disney’s live-action Mulan reboot won’t be premiering in theatres (thanks COVID-19), but you will be able to see it on Disney+ as of September 4th. That is, assuming you’re good with forking out $29.99 to watch it.

Interesting, right?

Is this the way of the future – streaming services you already pay a monthly fee to use releasing new movies at a premium? I’m on the fence about this.

Disney CEO Bob Chapek outlined Mulan‘s release plans, “We thought it was important to find alternative ways to bring [Mulan] in a timely manner.

The movie was originally scheduled to hit theatres March 27th.

Disney has a couple super hero movies coming out soon – The New Mutants and Black Widow, on August 28th and November 6th respectively.

Are you willing to pay $29.99 to watch Mulan on Disney+? Or would you pay to see any new movie this way, for that matter?
