Margot Robbie To Star In live-action ‘Barbie’ Movie
Have you heard about this? They’re making a live-action Barbie film and Margot Robbie is calling it her “Everest”. No kidding. She says it will give you “something totally different”.
Not only is Robbie starring as Barbie, she’s producing the movie under her LuckyChap production company, “The IP, the name itself, people immediately have an idea of, ‘Oh, Margot is playing Barbie, I know what that is. But our goal is to be like, ‘Whatever you’re thinking, we’re going to give you something totally different — the thing you didn’t know you wanted.’
They’re not giving out much in terms of the film’s plot, or the hopeful release date.
