The Lord Of The Rings couldn’t be a bigger franchise if it tried… since 1995, there’s been 6 movies and 21 Oscars … and now, there’s talk of a Lord Of The Rings TV series!

Amazon Studios are stepping up to the plate to bring ‘Lord’ to the small screen. It’s been reported that they signed a $250M contract (Nov ’17) with author JR Tolkien’s estate to make a multi-series show for TV.

There’s no release date for the series – although you’d think it would be in line with a “Game Of Thrones” TV show (which took HBO 2 years to produce Season 1).

Regardless of release date, who’s making it and how much money they’re throwing into it… the thought of a Lord Of The Rings TV series is pretty exciting!!
