January 28, 2017

Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell has finished work on a song for the upcoming “John Wick Chapter 2” soundtrack.

Appropriately titled “A Job To Do,” the soundtrack gets released digitally on February 10th with a physical release on March 3rd. Cantrell is one of a few artists contributing – the soundtracks getting some tunes courtesy of Le Castle Vania, Ciscandra Nostalghia, as well as the original score provided by Tyler Bates and Joel J. Richard.

Cantrells contribution also comes fresh off the news that Alice In Chains are back in the studio working on their sixth album.

“John Wick – Chapter 2” of course is the second chapter in the John Wick movie franchise, starring Keanu Reeves as the titular Wick.  The movie also stars Common, Riccardo Scamarcio, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, Bridget Moynahan, Lance Roddick, Franco Nero, John Leguizamo and Ian McShane.

“John Wick – Chapter 2” gets released February 10th – same day as the digital release of the soundtrack. Check out the trailer below.
