How Soon To A New PUDDLE OF MUDD Album?

May 24, 2019

Puddle of Mudd singer Wes Scantlin recently tweeted, “Puddle of Mudd New Release Coming VERY Soon 2019.”

Their last album, “Volume 4: Songs In The Key Of Love & Hate”, came out a decade ago. In 2011 they released a covers album called “re(disc)overed”. Besides their song “Piece Of The Action” (released in 2014), we haven’t had new original new music from them since 2009!

Puddle of Mudd earned household name status in 2001 with the release of their album “Come Clean” and the hits “Control”, “Blurry” and “She Hates Me”.

Scantlin has had some legal trouble these last few years; arrested for disorderly or drunken behaviour. He’s gone to rehab. And the band’s has had cancelled or disrupted shows along the way too. Let’s hope this new album is the first step to putting all that stuff behind him and focusing on the music.

How do you think this new album will do? Does Puddle of Mud have more radio hits in them? We’re gonna find out soon enough!
