Godsmack Is Releasing An Acoustic EP!

August 9, 2020

Godsmack singer Sully Erna was recently a guest of the “Appetite For Distortion” podcast and talked about the progress of writing a follow up to 2018’s “When Legends Rise” album.

Erna said (hear the interview below), “We’re starting to get ready to write some more music now for the Godsmack record. We’re gonna try to maybe even do two albums next year, so there’s an acoustic EP and a full-length rock record. And I might even work with the solo band and do some solo stuff. So I’ve got a lot going on. It’s better to stay busy, I believe, than stay bored. Bored gets you in trouble.”

An acoustic EP? Very cool. Something you wouldn’t expect outta this band.

Like most bands worldwide, Godsmack has been sidelined for months due to COVID-19 shutting down the touring industry.

Any other bands you’d like to see release an acoustic EP?
