Don’t dismiss this movie. Thomas Edison and Nikola Tesla went head to head to bring electric light to America and it’s the focus of The Current War. The movie will be released to theatres on October 4th.

The Current War stars Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) as Thomas Edison and Nicholas Hoult plays Nikola Tesla. The movie centres around their fight to get the rights to light Manhattan (and ultimately all of America) thru competing technologies.

Alfonso Gomez-Rejon directed The Current War and Martin Scorsese is the executive producer. Tom Holland, Katherine Waterston, Matthew Macfadyen and Tuppence Middleton are also in the movie.

Have been intrigued with this story for as long as I can remember and can’t wait to see this movie!
