Eddie Van Halen Photo Book From Photographer Ross Halfin Coming This Summer!
In the rock world, photographer Ross Halfin is as legendary as some of the bands he shoots. And now, Halfin and Rufus Publications are releasing the 320 page “Edward Van Halen By Ross Halfin” photo book!
As you expect (and hope), this book will contain many never-before-seen shots and an intro from Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi. Journalist Mark Blake writes a career essay on Van Halen’s massive career.
Iommi writes, “Sabbath were making the ‘Cross Purposes’ album, and we were doing a song called ‘Evil Eye’. I suggested Eddie have a go. He played it with us and started doing all the guitar parts and solos. I still have a recording of it somewhere, which we may put out at some point in the future.”
You can pre-order here! It’ll cost you about $150 CDN.
“Edward Van Halen By Ross Halfin” is being released in June 2021.
