Christian Bale plays Dick Cheney in ‘Vice’. Watch the trailer!
Cheney to Bush, “The Vice President is a mostly symbolic job. However, if we came to a different understanding I can handle the more mundane jobs.” They’ve released the first trailer for “Vice” – Christian Bale (says he “ate lots of pie” to transform his body) stars as Dick Cheney, Vice President of the Bush administration.
As you might expect, this biopic will follow Cheney’s political career.
Sam Rockwell plays George W. Bush – and as you see in the trailer, Bush enlists Cheney to be his VP. Fast forward to 2013 and Cheney was a key political figure in America’s invasion of Iraq in 2003.
Looks like there’s lots of heavyweights in this movie – Steve Carell plays defence secretary Donald Rumsfeld and Amy Adams is Cheney’s wife Lynne Cheney.
Vice is in theatres December 25. Will it be a huge gift for Annapurna Pictures or a lump of coal?
