Bob Marley’s Shooting Investigated in Netflix’s ‘ReMastered’
Isn’t it incredible that they never found out who shot Bob Marley? In case you didn’t know, back in December 1976 there was attempt on Marley’s life. 42 years later – still no idea who tried to assassinate one of the biggest cultural icons of our time.
Now, Netflix is releasing “ReMastered”, a documentary team give possible answers.
ReMastered will not only look into Bob Marley’s story – but will also look at eight music mysteries in total. Everything begins October 12th, with a new episode released every month through May 2019.
First up: Bob’s story “Who Shot the Sheriff?”.
Later episodes of ReMastered will feature the 2002 murder of Run-DMC’s Jam Master Jay, Sam Cooke’s death in 1964, the Pinochet regime’s killing of Chilean protest singer Victor Jara in 1973 and more.
Industry executive Irving Azoff is among the series’ executive producers.
