Arctic Monkeys are in “early stages” of writing new album!
This is great news! Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders recently did an Instagram Live today (Jan 13) and said that the band was in “early stages of trying to write a [new] record”!
Helders said the band has been “faced with various obstacles” working on the follow-up to their last album “Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino”, “Being separated by the sea is one of them. We’re all eager to do it – we would have been doing it by now in a normal time. There’s definitely a desire from our end to do a new record, as soon as we can.”
One of the silver linings of the pandemic is creativity. And new music.
