A-List Actor To Play Batman’s dad in Joaquin Phoenix’s ‘Joker’ movie
We don’t have much of a wait for the Joaquin Phoenix “Joker” movie. Producers are saying you can expect it to hit theatres October 4, 2019!
Joining Phoenix, as we already know is Robert DeNiro. He plays a talk show host who plays an instrumental role in the the Joker’s life. And now, it’s been announced that Alec Baldwin is joining the cast to play Bruce Wayne’s father Thomas.
The Hollywood Report is saying that Baldwin’s character is “a cheesy and tanned businessman who is more in the mold of a 1980s Donald Trump”.
Zazie Beetz will play a single mother who fosters a close relationship with the Joker.
Last week, Phoenix addressed critics who question his suitability for the role, telling IndieWire, “I don’t really think that much about what people think. Who cares, who cares?”
