Tracy Morgan wasn’t well enough to attend SNL 40
NBC reportedly tried hard to convince Tracy Morgan to appear on TV at Sunday’s (February 15th) Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary reunion.
According to Page Six, the comedian’s condition has not improved enough for him to be TV-ready.
A source explained, “They really wanted him to be there, but when it came down to it, he just isn’t mentally or emotionally ready to appear on TV yet.”
- Tracy was a cast member from 1996 to 2003. His 30 Rock co-stars, Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin, introduced a memorable clip of his time on the show during the broadcast.
- The 46-year-old has been recovering from brain trauma and other injuries sustained during a car accident on a New Jersey highway last June.
