Tommy Lee Misses 5th Consecutive Mötley Crüe Concert

Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee missed Sunday (Oct 18) night’s concert in Bangor, Maine because he is suffering from tendinitis.

Lee also missed last Wednesday’s (Oct 14) show in Buffalo, New York, Friday’s (Oct 16) concert in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Saturday night’s (Oct 17) show in Manchester, New Hampshire and Tuesday’s (Oct 20) show in Quebec City, Quebec. Alice Cooper’s drummer Glen Sobel has been filling in.

Lee said in a statement that he was unable to play after sustaining an injury of “severe inflammation” to his left wrist.

“I am told this injury is temporary and that I will be back on stage very shortly,” he said. “I’m doing everything in my power to speed up the healing process. I hate not being able to play for you guys!”
