Thom Yorke playing Radiohead’s ‘High And Dry’ with early band
A rare video is making the rounds online … showing Radiohead singer Thom Yorke performing what would become the group’s 1995 single ‘High And Dry’ with one of his earliest bands.
A Reddit user posted a clip of Yorke and his former band Headless Chickens playing the song at a live show during the late 1980s. The show was at Exeter University’s Lemon Grove.
As Pitchfork notes, Headless Chickens only released one song during their short life as a band, playing a handful of live shows.
