‘SNL’ VIEWERS OUTRAGED BY ISIS SKIT
Dakota Johnson’s debut as host of Saturday Night Live over the weekend has sparked a bit of controversy. Viewers of the show have expressed outrage over a sketch where Dakota goes off to join the terrorist group ISIS.
The skit was a parody of the Toyota commercial showing a father dropping his daughter to enter the army. The joke was that instead of the army, Dakota’s character is joining ISIS. It also included cast member Kyle Mooney saying the line, “Death to America.” The bit ends with the slogan, “ISIS: We’ll take it from here, Dad.”
