SLIPKNOT, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, VOLBEAT HEADLINING NEW FESTIVAL
The organizers behind Rock On The Range, Welcome To Rockville, Fort Rock and other events that are all basically the same thing have added another festival to their ever-growing roster.

Slipknot is already out on the road introducing the band’s new album and new lineup to fans. Singer Corey Taylor said that all the rehearsal in the world can’t prepare you enough for performing in front of an audience, “Once you’re in front of that audience, it’s all about them. You know, you can’t stop like in the middle of a show and go, ‘Okay, we need to work on this and work on that,’ you know. It’s got to be bulletproof right from the get-go. So you need to know that it’s almost like a science now in your head, like, ‘We’ve done it, we’ve done it, we’ve done it.’ It’s all about repetition and confidence after that.”
Slipknot is touring behind .5: The Gray Chapter, its first new album since the 2010 death of bassist Paul Gray and the 2013 dismissal of drummer Joey Jordison.
- Five Finger Death Punch frontman Ivan Moody said his band will be “fresh out of the studio” when Northern Invasion rolls around, adding, “It’s a huge festival and it will be amazing to get back onstage with peers in Slipknot, Volbeat, Halestorm and so many other kick ass bands.”
