SLASH SINGER MYLES KENNEDY SINGS DUET FOR NEW ROCK PROJECT

Alter Bridge and Slash vocalist Myles Kennedy has recorded a new duet called “Black And White” with Ugly Kid Joe singer Whitfield Crane. The track is taken off the debut disc from Richards/Crane, a new act assembled by Crane and early Godsmack guitarist Lee Richards. The band s funding the album through a PledgeMusic page, where the set can be pre-ordered now.

The video for “Black And White” features cameos from Down‘s Philip Anselmo, Fozzy‘s Chris Jericho, Twisted Sister‘s Dee Snider, Skid Row‘s Dave “Snake” Sabo, members of Steel Panther and many more.

Crane and Richards worked together previously in Another Animal, a Godsmack offshoot that also featured current Godsmack members Tony Rombola on guitar, Robbie Merrill on bass and Shannon Larkin on drums.

Crane and Ugly Kid Joe reunited in 2010 and are planning to record their first all-new album in 19 years, titled Uglier Than They Used Ta Be. Pre-orders are available at the same PledgeMusic page.

Myles Kennedy is currently on tour with Slash and will be visiting Japan, Australia, New Zealand and South American through the end of March.
