SCOTT STAPP MISSES MENTAL HEALTH COURT HEARING
Creed frontman Scott Stapp is reported to have missed a court hearing that was being held to determine the state of his mental health.
According to Gossip Extra, an attempt was made to serve the 41-year-old singer with a summons to determine if he needed to be held in a psychiatric hospital for a mental evaluation and drug treatment. But Stapp never made it to court.
- A Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputy was sent to a Holiday Inn Express in Boca Raton, where Stapp’s family believes he is living, with a summons for Stapp to appear before Judge Martin Colin in a Delray Beach court.
- Stapp, however, never showed up and because the case is a civil matter, there is little the police can do to find him and force him into court.
- He could be held in contempt if he ever does show up, and once he’s in the courtroom he could be placed in an involuntary psychiatric hold for evaluation.
