RONDA ROUSEY WINS UFC BOUT IN RECORD 14 SECONDS
Ronda Rousey needed just 14 seconds to beat Cat Zingano on Saturday (February 28th), setting a new record for the quickest victory in UFC history by one second.
The speed of the win wasn’t a fluke for the bantamweight champion, who won a bout last summer in just 16 seconds.
The 11-0 Rousey’s success has created a mixed martial arts superstar for the UFC, but also presented it with a challenge in finding credible opponents for her.
UFC President Dana White jokingly said, “Yeah, we’re going to move her to the men’s division and see the odds.”
