ROMNEY TO FIGHT HOLYFIELD IN CHARITY BOXING MATCH
Mitt Romney, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee, will face off against former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield in a charity boxing match.
The Salt Lake Tribune reported Monday (March 16th) that the bout will take place on May 15th at the Union Pacific Depot in Salt Lake City to raise money for Charity Vision, which provides medical equipment for poor areas around the world. It will be one of several taking place that night.
Romney told the newspaper, “It will either be a very short fight, or I will be knocked unconscious. It won’t be much of a fight. We’ll both suit up and get in the ring and spar around a little bit.”
