REDDIT WILL NO LONGER ALLOW NUDE PHOTOS WITHOUT PERMISSION

February 25, 2015

Social networking site Reddit has announced that it will no longer allow nude photos or photos of someone engaged in sexual activity to be posted unless the person in the image has given permission, and will remove photos, videos and links with the explicit content if they don’t have it.

The change is a significant one for the site, which has mostly allowed users to police their own forums.

It comes some six months after hacked nude photos of celebrities were posted to certain sites, including Reddit.
