Pearl Jam to release single with Beyoncé
Pearl Jam and Beyonce are teaming up to release a joint single!
Their cover of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” will be released as part of PJ’s Ten Club Holiday Single programme, an annual single’s club for members of their fan club.
This year’s release will be a live version of Bob Marley’s ‘Redemption Song’, performed by frontman Eddie Vedder and Beyoncé at 2015’s Global Citizen Festival.
Pearl Jam recently made headline after boycotting North Carolina. They were supposed to play the PNC Arena in Raleigh on April 20, but cancelled due to the state’s HB2 law which states individuals must use bathrooms corresponding to their biological sex, a move that negatively impacts on transgender people.
Meanwhile, Beyoncé is Number One in the UK and US with her new album ‘Lemonade’.
‘Lemonade’ was released exclusively thru Tidal on April 23, after an hour-long HBO special of the same name was broadcast.
‘Lemonade’ is Beyoncé’s sixth solo album and the follow-up to 2013’s self-titled LP, which was released in a similar surprise fashion. It is available to download now but is streaming exclusively through Tidal.
