January 26, 2015

Papa Roach is streaming its new album, F.E.A.R., in its entirety online just ahead of its release date on Tuesday (January 27th). The band has already unveiled several songs from the record, including the title track and first single, but now fans can listen to the band’s eighth studio effort from front to finish.

Frontman Jacoby Shaddix said that “Gravity” is about his relationship with his wife and their ups and downs: “You know, we’ve been together for 21 years now and we’ve had some really high highs and just some crazy, insane lows and I got to the other side of the track and finished it up and I’m like, ‘I don’t want to play this song for my wife (laughs), she’s gonna hate me!’ You know? But that was like, I think that those moments are what makes this record special.”

F.E.A.R. follows up Papa Roach’s 2012 effort, The Connection. The title track from the new disc is a Top 10 hit at rock radio.

Papa Roach and Seether are currently on a co-headlining North American tour that brings the bands to Kansas City on Tuesday.
