PAPA ROACH CELEBRATES NEW ALBUM WITH ACOUSTIC SET
Papa Roach celebrated the release of its eighth studio album, F.E.A.R., earlier this week with a stripped-down acoustic set at the YouTube Space in New York City. According to Loudwire, the band performed the new single “Face Everything And Rise” along with older hits “Scars” and “Leader Of The Broken Hearts.” They also participated in a Q&A session after playing.
The YouTube session came in the midst of Papa Roach’s current U.S. tour with Seether, which Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix said is going great: “It’s been awesome. It’s been really cool, man. It started out in Florida, worked our way up to the Northeast, all the way through the Midwest, and ended up out west and it’s been awesome. Sharing the stage with Seether’s been great. We’re getting along great with them out on the road, which is cool. Cool opening bands, Kyng and our friends in Islander. It’s a very diverse show, you know what I mean, stylistically, music-wise, it’s like — it’s a great show.”
F.E.A.R. came out this past Tuesday (January 27th) and follows up Papa Roach’s 2012 effort, The Connection. The title track from the new disc is a Top 10 hit at rock radio.
The tour with Seether stops in Houston on Friday night (January 30th) and will continue for another week before closing out on February 7th in Las Vegas.
