Do you know what “vape?” means?

Oxford Dictionaries, say it’s the word of the year. The dictionary defines vape as a verb that means to inhale and exhale the vapor produced by an electronic cigarette or similar device, or a noun referring to an electronic cigarette or similar device.

Oxford University Press says the word first appeared in a 1983 article, but gained more prevalence in 2009 when electronic cigarettes became commercially available.

“Vape” beat out the following words: bae, contactless, normcore, slacktivism, budtender and indyref.
