Nicki Minaj accuses Taylor Swift of defending ‘racist media’

Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift recently had a back and forth on Twitter, following the recent nominations for the MTV VMAs.

The nominations for MTV’s Video Music Awards 2015 were announced on Tuesday (July 21), with Swift racking up 9 nominations (the highest number of nominations).

However, following the news, rapper/singer Minaj seemingly took offence at the omission of her clips for ‘Anaconda’ and ‘Feeling Myself’ from the Video Of The Year shortlist.

Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran, Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars are all nominated alongside Swift in the Video Of The Year category.
