NICKELBACK Cancels Remaining 2015 ‘No Fixed Address’ Tour Dates

August 14, 2015

Nickelback cancelled the remaining dates of their 2015 “No Fixed Address” world tour in order for singer Chad Kroeger to rest his vocal cords (recently underwent surgery on his voice box).

The band states: “We are sorry to miss our fans out on the road this fall, but Chad’s health, healing and full recovery are what is most important right now.”

In June 2015, Kroeger was diagnosed with an operable cyst on his voice box, forcing the band to cancel nearly 20 shows. Kroeger at the time: “I am definitely not thrilled with the prospect of being silent for many weeks to come when I could be out there playing for our fans. I am relying on my doctor and his team to help get my voice back in good form as quickly as possible.”

The band is expected to tour North America next year.

Nickelback’s latest album, “No Fixed Address”, sold 80,000 copies in the United States in the first week and landed at #4 on The Billboard 200 chart. The album came out on November 17, 2014.
