NHL ALL-STAR GAME SETS RECORD WITH 29 GOALS

The pucks were flying into the net at the 60th NHL All-Star Game on Sunday (January 25th) in Columbus, Ohio, which set a record with 29 goals, breaking the old record of 26.

The team led by Jonathan Toews of the Chicago Blackhawks won the game 17-12 over the one captained by Nick Foligno of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Team Toews’ John Tavares of the New York Islanders became the sixth player in history to score four goals in the All-Star Game, while Team Foligno’s Ryan Johansen, the Blue Jackets’ center, was voted the game MVP by fans, with two goals and two assists.
