MAYOR TELLS BOSTONIANS TO STOP JUMPING OUT WINDOWS INTO SNOW
With all the snow that’s been dumped on Boston, it’s understandable that residents have been getting a little stir crazy, and some of them have been trying to have a little fun with the whole situation by jumping into big snow banks from their windows.
But Mayor Martin Walsh is nixing their fun, saying at a news conference Monday (February 16th), “I’m asking people to stop their nonsense right now. This isn’t [ski resort] Loon Mountain, this is the city of Boston, where we’re trying to remove snow off of the street and it becomes very dangerous.”
Boston has had nearly five feet of snow dropped on the city just in February.
