KERSHAW, TROUT WIN BASEBALL’S MVP AWARDS
L.A. Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw was named National League MVP yesterday (November 13th), one day after unanimously winning the Cy Young award.
Kershaw in the first pitcher to win the NL MVP since Bob Gibson in 1968.
On the American League side, the MVP was given to LA Angels outfielder Mike Trout in a unanimous vote by the Baseball Writers’ Association of American, becoming, at age 23, the youngest unanimous MVP pick ever.
