JK Simmons has been cast as Commissioner Gordon in the upcoming Justice League movie.
Simmons, who won a supporting actor Oscar in 2014’s Whiplash, will join an ensemble cast when the movie starts shooting in April.
Justice League Part One will be directed by Zack Snyder. It will feature Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), the Flash (Ezra Miller) and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) teaming up together. It’s due for release in November 2017, and will be followed up with a sequel in 2019.
