Is DISTURBED In the Recording Studio?

April 23, 2015

Disturbed is rumored to be in Vegas recording its first album since 2010’s “Asylum”.

Although it’s not official, there’s a buzz that the band is working with producer Kevin Churko at The Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas (Kevin has worked with Five Finger Death Punch, In This Moment, Papa Roach, Hellyeah and more!).

Disturbed singer David Draiman said a few months ago that he was co-writing and producing some “baby bands” — though he didn’t divulge more details because of a non-disclosure agreement.

Back in January, Draiman gave fans a “non-update” on the status of Disturbed via his Twitter account, writing: “OKAY… 1. Disturbed WILL REUNITE…SOMEDAY. 2. I HAVE NO IDEA WHEN 3. NO CLUE ON Device EITHER – OOH WA AH AH AH.”

After Disturbed went on hiatus in late 2011, Draiman teamed with former Filter guitarist Geno Lenardo to create Device.

Draiman has also been spending time with his wife, model/wrestler Lena Yada, and their son, Samuel, who was born in September 2013.
