Gene Simmons, Johnny Depp + Gilby Clarke Rock KISS Songs for Charity
On Sunday (Aug 16), KISS bassist Gene Simmons was joined by actor Johnny Depp and former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke as they played KISS songs for charity.
The charity benefitting that night was “Mending Kids”, an organization that provides life-changing surgical care to children around the world. Extreme’s Gary Cherone and Nuno Bettencourt also performed at the charity show. The gig took place at Lucky Strike Live in L-A and the event was open to the public with general admission tickets going for $150.
Johnny Depp is in the “Super Group” Hollywood Vampires, with Alice Cooper, Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, former GN’R bassist Duff McKagan & drummer Matt Sorum.
